Lemy Shopping Centre
Our company came into existence 4 years ago, in a small garage in Basingstoke, Hampshire. A few close friends had a business idea that took off like wildfire. So only a few months after, we were able to set our headquarters in Office 6, Slington House, Rankine Road. And its a good thing we did because soon after it, the business developed at an incredible rate. Signing up new contracts, increasing our customer database, but also the need for better targeted marketing, gave us the opportunity to expand our team.
Initially we were selling second hand mountain bikes and bicycle accessories, but those days are over now as we developed our product catalog to shoes, electronics, dunlop, kids bikes and snow sports equipment. The name Lemy comes from the initials of our original team's names: Larry, Eddy, Mark and Yvonne. Larry is the logistics manager, Eddy runs the IT department, Mark deals with finance and Yvonne is our marketing guru. Eddy came up with the idea of opening Lemy Shopping Centre online and 1 year later, here we are, finding new ways to make life easier for our customers and simplifying the purchase process as much as possible.
Lemy Shopping Centre is now the focus of our passionate team's efforts and we have encouraging results, estimating that by the end of 2009 all the infrastructure will be coordinated from lemy.co.uk.
Selling mountain bikes, road bikes, bmx and other bike accessories still represent the majority for our business and we are already an established bicycle supplier.
